EPDM Rubber Roofing

EPDM is one of the most reliable flat roofing materials available. This synthetic rubber membrane is UV-stable, weather-resistant, and can last 30+ years with minimal maintenance. We install EPDM systems on extensions, garages, dormers, and outbuildings – providing a seamless, watertight finish.

GRP Fibreglass Roofing

GRP (glass-reinforced polyester) creates a completely seamless, hardwearing surface that's ideal for flat roofs and balconies. It's particularly well-suited to areas with foot traffic or where a clean, finished appearance matters. Our fibreglass roofs come with a 20-year guarantee.

Felt Roofing

Modern three-layer felt systems are a far cry from the budget felt roofs of the past. Torch-applied felt roofing offers excellent waterproofing at a competitive price point, making it a practical choice for garages, sheds, and utility buildings.

Flat Roof Repairs

Not every flat roof needs replacing. We repair all types of flat roofing systems – patching splits, resealing joints, replacing damaged sections, and addressing drainage issues. If a repair will do the job properly, that's what we'll recommend.

Does Your Flat Roof Need Replacing?

Signs Your Flat Roof Is Failing

Flat roofs give plenty of warning before they fail completely. Here's what to look out for:

Ponding Water

Water sitting on your flat roof for more than 48 hours after rain puts pressure on the membrane and accelerates deterioration.

Bubbles and Blisters

Air or moisture trapped beneath the membrane causes bubbling. These weak spots often split over time, letting water in.

Cracks and Splits

As flat roofing materials age, they lose flexibility. Cracks in felt or splits in rubber membranes are common failure points.

Lifting at Edges

If your roofing membrane is pulling away from upstands, edges, or trims, water can get underneath and cause hidden damage.

Interior Damp or Staining

Water marks on ceilings below a flat roof, or damp patches on walls, usually indicate your roof covering has failed somewhere.

Visible Wear and Tear

Exposed felt fibres, surface erosion, or areas where the coating has worn through all suggest your roof is nearing end of life.

Previous Patch Repairs

Multiple repairs over the years often mean the underlying material is degrading. At some point, replacement becomes more economical.

Age of Roof

Traditional felt roofs typically last 10-15 years. If yours is older and showing wear, it's worth considering an upgrade to a longer-lasting system.
